The foundation of a home is in direct contact with the soil beneath it. Movement of the soil beneath the foundation can cause serious damage.

CHANCE HELICAL PIER® Foundation Systems transfer the load to bearing plates that are located in stable soil. The load bearing steel shafts are screwed into the ground independent of the structure.

We can stabilize your home which keeps it from moving anymore. In many cases we can also re-level your home, which will restore it to it's original position. Many customers find that after re-leveling their doors and windows work again, and the cracks on the outside of their house are corrected.

The Foundation Repair Process

1. We will visit your home to inspect your foundation and determine installation requirements. We will provide you with an engineered design. Then we will give you a price quote and a time estimate for the installation.
2. The anchors will be screwed into stable subsoil until the prescribed depth is reached.
3. Your foundation will be connected to the anchor shaft with a steel L-shaped bracket. The weight of your home will then be transferred to the CHANCE Helical Pier® Foundation system.
4. All excavation will be backfilled.
5. This process will stabilize your house so it will not move anymore. Another option is to re-level your house which will restore it to it's original position.

A similar process is used for settling, cracked or bulging concrete floors and buckled foundation walls.
